Forensics
This is the forensics arm of the group and this department deals with detailed investigative work. Within this department the team have worked with some of the leading intelligence experts in the country.
Recently the department has undertaken the following work:
Investigation in conjunction with the Metropolitan Police Fraud Squad into a high ranking official who was working for a London Council . In this well known case, the public sector official was investigated and found guilty of transferring millions of pounds of business to a connected party. The team carried out a detailed analysis of the level and flow of work emulating from the Council and were able to use their connections to establish a relationship between the Official awarding the contracts and the connected party, who were connected through an offshore entity.
Investigation into a Politician who had established a Company and ensured that that Company was awarded a public sector contract to support disadvantaged children. Needless to say the only recipients of the grants were the politician and his co-conspirators. The team were able to use their contacts to prove that the monies were used inappropriately.
The investigative skills that are used by the insolvency arm have often produced amazing results in the recovery of assets that have been deliberately put out of reach of the company.
